Established in 2015, The Regional Independent is the only free, independent, community newspaper within the Queanbeyan-Palerang local government area. It is printed fortnightly and continues to thrive and is growing.

This is because we support many diverse local events, community groups and local businesses.

This is something that the other local newspapers just don’t do. It’s fresh, factual and informative format, with all local content, has been very well received and respected by advertisers and residents alike.

Distribution is 6,000 copies every fortnight.
January editions: Wed 14th and Wed 28th
February editions: Wed 11th and Wed 25th
March editions: Wed 11th and Wed 25th
April editions: Wed 8th and Wed 22nd
